Caitlyn Jenner’s rumored trans girlfriend is apparently really transphobic

Sophia Hutchins, the rumored girlfriend of right-wing trans conservative Caitlyn Jenner, recently denied the rumors while misgendering and deadnaming Jenner to her 246,000 Instagram followers. Hutchins also recently worked for the transphobic right-wing media outlet Fox News and is a board member of the Log Cabin Republicans, a self-proclaimed group for LGBTQ+ conservatives that actively opposes transgender civil rights.

The right-wing watchdog X account, @PatriotTakes noted that Hutchins recently misgendered and deadnamed Jenner when reacting to a 2019 tabloid story. The story claimed that Hutchins and Jenner were planning on having a baby together. In an Instagram video recently posted by Hutchins, she showed an online article repeating the claim. The article’s headline read, “Caitlyn Jenner & Sophia Hutchins ready to become moms together!”

In the video. Hutchins calls the tabloid’s claim “fake news,” saying, “Uhh, Caitlyn is my client. Caitlyn is also a very very good friend, of course. But [us] to become moms? What the hell? I mean, come on… good grief…. I’m not into Caitlyn and … I think Caitlyn, [deadname] whatever you want to call her, him has enough kids.”

In a follow-up video addressing the claim once more, Hutchins says, “I’m not really sure how the guys I’m dating are going to respond either if they see that [tabloid news story]. Gosh, I’m not having a baby with anyone, let alone my client who is a transgender. I mean, my god, what the f**k? Ugh.”

In another X post, @PatriotTakes notes that Fox News invited her to the recent White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington D.C., even though the right-wing network has repeatedly demonized trans people. @PatriotTakes also posted two images of Hutchins extending her middle finger toward pro-Palestinian street protestors as she walked to the event.

Hutchins denies that she and Jenner have ever been romantically involved. The pair have been spotted out and about together on numerous occasions, including recently at the Los Angeles International Airport, headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Some media outlets, like Radar Online, have reported that Hutchins is Jenner’s girlfriend, whereas others, like the Daily Mail, have reported that they are just friends.

In mid-January, Hutchins reportedly attended former President Donald Trump’s celebration party after he won the Iowa caucuses. Trump rolled back numerous trans-related civil rights during his presidency, including banning trans people from the military. Trump surrogates Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) both made anti-trans statements while stumping for Trump in Iowa.

Jenner is also transphobic. She has claimed that trans women aren’t really women and shouldn’t play competitive sports even though she herself is a trans woman who plays competitive sports.
