Rapper 50 Cent visited D.C. yesterday, where he ran into anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), and the pictures they both shared on social media have people mocking Boebert and questioning the nature of their relationship.
50 Cent was in D.C. to talk to lawmakers about his liquor company, Sire Spirits, which is currently in a legal battle with Suntory Global Spirits. 50 Cent and his lawyer talked to the Congressional Black Caucus about Black representation in the spirits industry.

Boebert re-posted the picture that 50 Cent shared, and then she shared a pic of her own.
“I’d still love you if you flipped burgers at Burger King, @50Cent,” Boebert wrote. She used to work at McDonald’s, and both she and 50 Cent are high school dropouts. “I used to do that myself!”
People posted derisive responses to the recently divorced congresswoman’s photo with the Grammy winner. Some people brought up how she got kicked out of a theater last year for being disruptive – and frisky – with her ex-boyfriend during a production of the musical Beetlejuice where children were present.
50 Cent then responded to the comments he was getting about his picture with Boebert.
“Wait, wait, guys i took pictures with everyone and all you seem to care about is Lauren,” he wrote, before saying that her groping of a man’s genitalia in a theater isn’t that big of a deal: “what did she do in a dark theater that hasn’t been done, my God !”
“Hey I don’t have chlamydia by the way. LOL,” he concluded.
50 Cent was correct in stating that he posted pictures with other politicians, including Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Many of his captions focused on his battle with Suntory.
50 Cent supported Donald Trump’s reelection bid in 2020 – tweeting “VOTE ForTRUMP” several weeks before election day – and he appears to be supporting him again this year, saying this week that he believes Black men will identify with Trump now that the former president has been found guilty on 34 felony criminal charges related to his scheme to fraudulently hide payments made to an adult actress he had an affair with to keep quiet in order to win the 2016 presidential election.
