Homophobic MAGA influencers fight each other for not supporting Trump enough

Homophobic right-wing broadcaster Brenden Dilley has recently referred to white supremacist MAGA-influencer Nick Fuentes as a “f**” for declaring “war” on the re-election campaign former President Donald Trump. Fuentes, an anti-Semite, dined with Trump in November 2022. Dilley accused him of helping empower the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Last Friday, Fuentes declared “a new Groyper War against the Trump campaign,” via X, using the collective name “Groyper” to refer to a group of far-right and racist internet trolls. “We support Trump,” Fuentes wrote, “but his campaign has been hijacked by the same consultants, lobbyists, & donors that he defeated in 2016, and they’re blowing it. Without serious changes we are headed for a catastrophic loss.”

In a recent podcast, Dilley said, “For anybody who’s got their panties in an uproar because I called out … that f*g Nick Fuentes—by the way, when’s he gonna come out?… Fuentes, at some point is gonna tell everybody’s gay.”

Dilley then said that he doesn’t broadcast to be famous, make money, or get clicks, adding ” I’m here to f**king win… and these people [like Fuentes] are a problem, and … what they’re doing is they’re trying to reinforce the Kamala Harris surge narrative. That’s their job. That’s what they’re doing right now. That’s the psyop now.”

Harris has indeed been surging in the polls since becoming the Democratic candidate for president. Dilley then admitted that he had no proof to back up his claim that Fuentes and other MAGA-affiliated influencers are working for Harris or any other left-wing group.

“Are they being compensated? Are they being deployed as a collective? I do not know,” Dilley said. “I have no evidence to show that they’re all working together. I just know I’m not a f**king idiot who was born yesterday, and if I look and I see seven to eight of the bigger pro-Republican, pro-MAGA accounts all pitching the same unified message that is all concern-f** trolling, then you need to start paying attention.”

“Concern f** trolling” is a homophobic term for someone who tries to harm another person or group’s reputation by ostensibly and publicly expressing concern for them.

Fuentes–who says that having sex with women is gay so he refrains from any sexual activity at all–is a controversial figure on the right. Fuentes has compared Jews being burnt in concentration camps during the Holocaust to cookies baking in an oven.

Fuentes has previously said that he won’t support Trump in the 2024 election. Following Trump’s assassination attempt in mid-July, Fuentes said, “I’m not a Republican and I don’t care that much and I’m not going to turn out. I don’t even really care. I’m not energetic, I’m not enthusiastic…I’m not leaving my house to vote. Vote for what? For JD Vance and [Vance’s wife of Indian-heritage] Usha. I’m not voting for this, I’m not lending my credibility to this.”

He added, “As a real conservative, as a real right-wing American, you could not force me to care about this. You could not bribe me to care. I don’t care. I don’t even want to look at it anymore.”

Trump dined with Fuentes at his Mar-a-Lago resort in November 2022. While Trump’s advisers wanted Trump to publicly distance himself from Fuentes, Trump reportedly feared that doing so would alienate his supporters, The Guardian reported.

Dilley made headlines in 2019 when he distastefully called upon now-former Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims to “prove” his gayness.

“The rumor in Pennsylvania is that Sims pretends to be gay because it provides coverage for his behavior. Because he knows that anybody who goes against him can be accused of being called a bigot. And the rumor in the political circles in PA is this motherf**ker is straight and that he only acts gay so that he can get coverage from the LGBTQ community and Democrats,” Dilley claimed.

Dilley asked his followers to help prove that Sims is heterosexual, saying it would be a “a nuclear bomb in the culture war.” Sims is gay and has long posted images of himself at Pride events, hanging out with gay friends, and shots of his boyfriend on social media.
