Kamala Harris says Donald Trump is a “fascist” for the first time. She didn’t hesitate a second.

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris didn’t hesitate for a second when out CNN host Anderson Cooper asked if she thinks Donald Trump is a fascist.

“Yes, I do,” Harris instantly replied, punctuating her response by repeating it again.

“Yes, I do, and I also believe that the people who know him best on this subject should be trusted,” she continued, referring to officials like retired U.S. Army General Mark Milley, Donald Trump’s top general who recently called him “fascist to the core.”

Harris emphasized the legitimacy of the accusations, which have also come from Trump’s former Secretary of Defense General Jim Mattis as well as his former chief of staff John Kelly.

“These are career people who have served the highest roles in national security,” Harris said, “who have served as generals in our military, who are highly respected, talking about the person who would be commander in chief, not to mention what we know and what they’ve told us about how he talks about the military.”

Historian and LGBTQ Nation commentator Dr. Warren Blumenfeld has analyzed Trump’s actions in the context of the 14 tenets of fascism and confirmed he has fulfilled each one.

Blumenfeld explained that experts already downgraded the democratic status of the United States during the Trump administration, and he warned that we are at risk of continuing to shift further toward autocracy.

Blumenfeld has repeatedly explored Trump’s similarities with Hitler and the Nazi regime, most recently based on the former president’s bizarre accusations that Haitian immigrants are eating people’s pets.

“Though I am not familiar with Hitler and the Nazis claiming that Jews ate vermin, they depicted the Jewish people as living in swarms and engaging in eating frenzies like rats,” Blumenfeld wrote, adding that “Trump’s argument that undocumented immigrants… are ‘poisoning the blood of our country‘ continues his wanna-be strongman’s reverberations of failed fascist dictators.”

At the CNN town hall, Harris also emphasized her belief that “Donald Trump is unstable” and “unfit to serve.”

She said that his former chief of staff, former national security advisor, former secretaries of defense, and his former vice president, Mike Pence, have all called him “unfit and dangerous.”

“They have said explicitly he has contempt for the constitution of the United States,” Harris continued. “They have said he should never again serve as president of the United States.”

She emphasized a recent interview with four-star Marine general John Kelly, Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, who expressed the grave dangers of a second Trump term.

“He’s just putting out a 911 call to the American people,” Harris warned. “Understand what could happen if Donald Trump were back in the White House, and this time we must take very seriously, those folks who knew him best and who were career people are not gonna be there to hold him back.”

Known for his infamous trans military ban, Trump recently posted a transphobic video on X attacking LGBTQ+ members of the military. “WE WILL NOT HAVE A WOKE MILITARY!” Trump yelled in all caps along with the clip.
