A popular TikTok personality who posted under the handle “Mr. Prada” has been arrested in Texas in connection with the violent death of a mental health therapist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Terryon Thomas, 20, is currently in custody in Dallas, charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

According to Baton Rouge Police, the suspect was arrested Tuesday in relation to the death of Baton Rouge resident Dr. Nick Abraham, 69.

Abraham’s badly beaten body was discovered wrapped in a tarp and dumped alongside a highway in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday morning.

Investigators say evidence indicates Abraham was killed on Saturday, but so far they haven’t identified where the crime took place. A search of the doctor’s apartment in Baton Rouge showed no signs of foul play.

On Monday night, police released surveillance screenshots of a “person of interest” in the case, caught on camera Sunday.

Baton Rouge Police spotted Thomas Monday afternoon driving Abraham’s vehicle and attempted to apprehend him. He crashed the vehicle and fled on foot, escaping authorities. An officer later picked out Thomas from a photo lineup, the warrant states.

According to authorities, Thomas then made his way across the state line to Texas.

The arrest warrant for Thomas included charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Abraham made headlines in 2015 when he was charged with child molestation. Police said an eleven-year-old patient claimed Abraham had touched him inappropriately during a therapy session. The case never went to trial.

His defense attorney at the time has said the alleged victim was not Thomas.

The well-known TikTok personality has documented his struggles with mental health in scores of videos that have received about half a million likes. It’s unclear what, if any, relationship he had with his alleged victim.

In a video from earlier this year, reposted by a user after Thomas’ arrest, he displays clear signs of mental distress. After mumbling incomprehensively, he pulls off his black knit cap, revealing a roughly shorn haircut.

In another post, from May, Thomas is seen “practicing my mug shot because this might be the year someone gonna meet God if they piss me off too much.”
