Australian actress Rebel Wilson married her longtime partner,Ā Ramona Agruma,Ā in a beautiful destination wedding in Sardinia, Italy, on Saturday, according to People.

Getting hitched in Italy held special meaning, as it was the location of their first vacation as an official couple. Wilson posted a photo of them holding hands in the seaside town of Porto Cervo with the caption, “Ciao Bellas.” The two spent five days at the exclusive Hotel Cala di Volpe after, one month earlier, Wilson revealed that she was seeing someone new, sharing that the couple had been set up “through a friend.”

According to Wilson, they connected over the phone before meeting in person. Wilson said that it “was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense, very romantic.”

Wilson and Agruma announced that they were a couple in June 2022, postingĀ a selfie of the pair on Instagram with the caption, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Princeā€¦ but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess šŸ’—šŸŒˆšŸ’—#loveislove.”

Wilson and Agruma, founder of the sustainable apparel brand Lemon Limon, got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2023. Wilson proposed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland in California and shared the happy news on Instagram, with a photo of the two kissing while Agruma flaunted her engagement ring.

“We said YES! šŸ’—šŸ’— Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring šŸ’ and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!” Wilson wrote in the post. She later shared more details about the surprise proposal in her memoir, Rebel Rising: A Memoir.

They also have a daughter named Royce Lillian, who was born via surrogate in November 2022. The child is almost two years old now.Ā

In her memoir, Rebel wrote: “Ramona sees the pastel rose petals all over the ground and the roses in vases,” she wrote. “I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box. I end with, ‘So in this clichĆ© way, on this clichĆ© day,Ā Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?’ ‘Yes,’ she says through the tears streaming down her face.”
