Unhinged anti-LGBTQ+ GOP candidate runs away when shown her own extreme tweets

Michele Morrow, a QAnon candidate for North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction, fled this way, that way, and finally found the exit after being asked to sign a tweet calling for the execution of Barack Obama on pay-per-view.

“I was wondering if I could grab your autograph,” comedian Jason Selvig of The Good Liars – a comedy duo – asked Morrow in the lunchroom of an unidentified school building.

She has called for major Democrats to be executed in the past.

“Oh, you’re so kind,” Morrow replied graciously. “Yeah, yeah. Sure.”

“This is one of your tweets,” Selvig explained. “It said, ‘Obama did it. Hillary did it. Schiff did it. Comey did it. Holder did it.’ And it says, ‘death to traitors’ on there.”

As Selvig’s intention slowly dawned across Morrow’s face, she replied, “Yeah, yeah. I do mind signing for you.”

“Nice to — nice to meet you,” she added, capping a sharpie and heading for an exit. And then another. And then another, before escaping the awkward encounter.

While Selvig couldn’t catch up with Morrow, her hateful online history has.

Not long after the homeschooling activist won the Republican primary in March, CNN uncovered several incendiary social media posts written by the candidate. In one from 2020 on Twitter, she called for Obama’s execution.

“I prefer a Pay Per View of him in front of the firing squad,” she replied to another user in a since-deleted post. “I do not want to waste another dime on supporting his life. We could make some money back from televising his death.”

“Death to ALL traitors!!” she wrote in another tweet in response to a picture of Obama in an electric chair.

In a December 2020 tweet, she called for the death of then-President-elect Joe Biden when he asked people to wear masks during the COVID pandemic.

“Never. We need to follow the Constitution’s advice and KILL all TRAITORS!!! #JusticeforAmerica,” she screamed across the internet void.

The QAnon keyboard warrior has also called the deaths of Black and Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D), and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) for their responses to the COVID pandemic, with the hashtag #DeathToTraitors.

Omar “and her other law-hating Dems must be getting a little nervous. Are they just realizing the punishment for treason is death?!?” she punctuated wildly.

Morrow’s latest online provocation attacked the LGBTQ+ community after her Democratic opponent in the race for superintendent, Mo Green, accepted the endorsement of Equality North Carolina, an LGBTQ+ advocacy group.

“NEWSFLASH…” she ranted, “the ‘+’ includes PEDOPH*L*A!! Mo Green will NOT keep our children safe!”
